Treadmill update

Matt hooked our treadmill up with a TV with "surround" sound, a dvd player that also plays radio and my iPod. Now we will have to look for new reasons not to run on it ;-)

Note: Today marked our ninth day in a row using the treadmill! Yay for us

Path

19 big bags of mulch later our path through our back yard is almost complete. Matt did all the spreading and I think it looks awesome. We still need to do some work on the flower beds....adding fresh mulch and some more flowers to add some color. I never knew why my parents spent so much time on yard work until now, and I can see why! I love the satisfaction of it.

Treadmill

Life Prevails

Matt and I went out to Mana's house and noticed that a pansy was growing from a crack in the driveway.

Fire Truck

Matt and I awoke to the sound of sirens a couple of nights ago and looked out our window to see two fire trucks, one a big ladder truck right in front of our house. We went out and watched our neighbors in the condos across the street evacuate, most of them with their dogs and in their jammies. The fire alarm was going off, but we did not see anything and after a little while the trucks left. The same thing happened the next night. We are not sure what was going on, but Matt got some pictures of the big engine parked in front of our house.

Cherry Blossom

When we got back from Boston last week our cherry blossom tree was in full bloom. It did not last long with all of the wind and rain that we had in the past few days, but we enjoyed it for a little while.
