Baby Joey!

Let me begin by saying HAPPY BIRTHDAY KATIE!!!

Matt and I had the privilege of meeting Lowrie's son, Joey. He is just so gorgeous. We also got to have dinner with her and the Murdochs and Dan, Sally and Mike. It was so super nice. Joey had a little photo shoot and we ended up with so many nice shots! I may have been a baby hog, but I think Joey liked me....and I loved holding him (even though it hurt my finger).

So, last night around 11pm I was making a yummy broccoli salad to take to work for lunch. I guess I really wasn't paying attention; rather than slicing the onion, I sliced my finger. So, after a little persuasion from Matt, I went to the ER. (I was laying on the floor crying with blood literally gushing out of my finger and onto my shirt and everywhere else. I told him it would be fine if I just went to bed. I still say I was right.)

Veggie Garden

Matt decided that he wanted to plant a vegetable garden on our new land. Today was a nice warm day so Matt dug out a 13'x7' area. I picked up some garden soil (11 bags!) on my way home from the movies. (I went with my parents and the boys to see How to train a dragon...it was really good!) It took Matt 2.5 hours to dig the garden...with just a shovel. He got a good workout and he did an awesome job. Now we just have to wait to eat our yummy vegetables.

Movie time

Today I went see a 3-D movie with my parents and nephews. I thought that the boys looked really cute in their glasses!
