Laryngitis

*In a squeaky scratchy voice*
So, I have laryngitis. I think that I may have gotten it from post nasal drip from being so cold in Chicago. Or I could just be sick. Either way it sucks to work and not be able to talk. I had to write questions on little sticky notes. Hopefully I will be better soon.

Adelina Iris Barnes

It's a girl!! Matt and I have a new niece! Adelina Iris Barnes arrived today at 9:05 a.m. Weighing in at 6 pounds 14 ounces and 19.5 inches long. Katie is recovering nicely and Randy and Caleb are overjoyed. Happy Birthday, Addy!!

PSA: Tea Maker

How not to use the pitcher of a tea maker:

• Do not pour boiling water into your plastic tea pitcher.
  
• Try not to touch said pitcher with hot pot if you use it with boiling water
  
• After realizing that you have slightly melted your pitcher, do not try and force lid of pitcher.
